Exquisite liquors should definitely come in exquisite packages, to offer some sort of prelude to the pleasure of enjoying it. And what could have been better for Martell’s fabled Cordon Bleu than the collaboration of the house with a jewelry house based in Boucheron, Paris?
As a celebration to the 100 years that have passed since the creation of the fabled booze, Martell have presented a unique bejeweled edition of the extremely famous blue liquor bottle.
Reportedly called the Ultimate Jewel, it is but an amalgam of finest jewelry and exquisite tipple, an enjoyment of passion from two internationally renowned brands, top crafters and manufacturers in their respective fields. The gorgeous bottle was crafted from crystal and has received an insane amount of attention to detail.
From top to bottom, every little bit of the bottle has been carefully decorated and finished, necessary processes for such a work of art. For example, we can admire the Martell swallow, which was wrought in gold, adorned with a diamond eye and which can be seen holding the centenary badge – the infinity sign, crafted from a fine satin ribbon – in its beak.
The extremely exquisite bottle is due to be auctioned in China by the end of 2012, as a tribute to the year that named the brand a centenarian.
