The Geneva Motor Show is one of the highlights of the year for automotive enthusiasts, so it’s no surprise Lamborghini has used the occasion to unveil the Aventador LP 750-3 Superveloce.
The new model comes with more punch in a slightly lighter frame – thanks to the extensive use of carbon fiber, it now tips the scales at 1,525 kg (3362 pounds, 50 pounds less that previous versions), while adding 50 hp to its output, which is now 750 hp (552 kW). This means that the latest Aventador can go from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in an incredibly quick 2.8 seconds, on its way to a top speed of 217 mph (350 km/h).
In addition to the power upgrade, the supercar boasts a 150% percent increase in aerodynamic efficiency, while also generating an extra 170% of downforce compared to the standard version. With all of this plus its noticeably more aggressive design, the Aventador SV is certain to be a real beast on the road.
Lamborghini has launched the new model in a color called “Rosso Bia,” with a black Alcantara interior, but the vehicle will be available in five additional colors as well. Deliveries are set to begin in Europe by the end of spring, with the starting price per unit being set at €327,190 (about $360,000).
