German racing team Kodewa has recently unveiled their new Lotus C-01 motorcycle.

After two years of development, the C-01 features a sleek, stylish exterior and high-tech frame made from carbon fiber, titanium and what the company is describing as “aerospace quality steel”. Kodewa has also made it clear that, in addition to the wide range of liveries the bike will be available in, the customers will have the option of customizing his bike in whatever way they please.

The C-01 is powered by a 1.2-liter V-twin engine that produces approximately 200 hp, which is connected to a six-gear “jaw-type shift transmission”, ensuring the bike will be lightning fast.

It is also worth noting that, despite the fact that it bears the Lotus name, the British automaker had nothing to do with the design and manufacturing of the C-01. Kodewa simply licensed the name to give their new release a bit of a higher profile.

Production of this exclusive new motorbike will be limited to 100 units, with the price of one to be announced in the future.
