Kempinski is the world’s oldest luxury hotel group and consequently a name that demands the highest of standards. This is perfectly clear in the Kempinski Hotel Haitang Bay Sanya, in the Chinese province of Hainan.

The resort is located on the southeastern coast of Hainan Island, 25 minutes away from Sanya Phoenix International Airport and is part of a 14-mile continuous strip of pristine white sandy beaches. Its beautiful natural surroundings also make it a great spot for golf, with no fewer than three golf clubs available for those who want to practice their swing.

The hotel offers 399 elegant and well-appointed rooms, suites, and residential-style villas, with a fitness center, steam, and sauna rooms also available for active, as well as passive recreation. There’s even a Kempi Kids Club for the hotel’s youngest guests.

One of the highlights of the resort however is the Aura Oceanfront Multi-functional Venue. Located on a beach in Haitang Bay, it is a chapel with its own helipad and infinity pool and has enough space for up to 80 guests – the perfect place for a really unique party, reception, or wedding.
