Inspired from the beautiful world of equestrian sports, the iconic Arceau collection from Hermès has received five new versions in 2015, dubbed as the Arceau Chrono Bridon watches. Each of these new models will come with the same rounded case design featuring stirrup-shaped asymmetrical lugs and sloping Arabic numerals, just like the original watches from this line, which were designed by Henri d’Origny back in 1978.
The new collection will sport a new bradoon strap with smart saddle stitching, that’s made from Barenia calfskin or bridle leather, just like the materials from which saddles and harnesses are often made. The new Arceau watches will be available in black, natural, ebony or indigo blue versions, colors that go extremely well with the curving case.
At the heard of this chic timepieces you’ll discover a self winding chronograph movement, with the central seconds-hands being finished in orange on the sportier versions or made from steel or blue steel for the classic models.
So if you’re looking for a timepiece with equestrian accents and inspiration, the new Arceau Chrono Bridon definitely captures the elegance of horses and riding.
