Is it just me, or are we dealing with more and more incredible watches inspired by the good old days right now? The latest example is this new Hamilton Intra-Matic 68, a gorgeous timepiece based on two classic Hamilton chronograph watches from the 1960s, the Chrono-Matic and the Chronograph B.

Boasting a 42 mm stainless steel case, with bold pump pushers that seem to add to a powerful presence and keep in line with the old-school design, the Hamilton Intra-Matic 68 has an ultra-elegant vibe about itself, that will surely seduce every single one of us.

This exquisite timepiece has a rated water resistance of 100 meters, although we doubt many of you will ever reach those kind of depths while diving. But it’s a good thing to know, just like the fact that the Intra-Matic 68 features what is commonly known as a “reverse panda dial”, with Hamilton’s H-31 automatic chronograph movement hiding underneath.

Boasting a 60-hour power reserve, this watch will never let you forget another meeting again. Available in either black or white versions, Hamilton’s newest offering also comes with a vintage-looking perforated black calf leather strap that will make you feel all cool, although reaching Bond levels will take more than a watch.

The Hamilton Intra-Matic 68 is old-school magic, with the price-tag to match. Every single piece of the 1,968 set to reach the market will cost $2,195, which doesn’t seem all that much for the charm it comes along with.
