Last spring we’ve presented a stunning rose gold timepiece by Girard-Perregaux called the Tri-Axial Tourbillon. Now, the prestigious Swiss watchmaker is releasing a white gold version of this great-looking and exquisitely crafted watch.

Its most striking feature is without a doubt the tourbillon, a mechanism designed to maximize timekeeping precision by eliminating the effect of gravity, which has a regulating organ that rotates on three axes instead of the traditional single axis. This very delicate, flawlessly assembled mechanism is 13.78 mm in diameter and comprises 140 components weighing in at just 1.24 grams – and the best thing of all, it is fully exposed, allowing the wearer to fully appreciate its intricacy and beauty.

The 18-carat white gold case is 48mm in diameter, it has double AR-coated sapphire crystals and it is water resistant to 30 meters. At its heart is, the movement is the Swiss manual-wind Girard-Perregaux in-house caliber GP09300-0002 with 34 jewels, 21,600 vph, and a power reserve of 60 hours. The eye-catching dial features a vertical grid, with a sunburst finish for hour and minute subdial. Finally, the watch comes on a hand-stitched black alligator leather strap with a white gold folding buckle.

The Girard-Perregaux Tri-Axial Tourbillon White Gold is a limited edition release consisting of just 10 timepieces.
