It was not a coincidence that Porsche unveiled this limited edition 911 GTS Rennsport Reunion Edition at the fifth annual Porsche Rennsport Reunion, held at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. Inspired by the racing event, the special 911 will be produced in a very limited number of just 25 units, designed by Porsche Exclusive and based on the striking 430 hp 911 Carrera GTS.
Featuring a beautiful Fashion Grey exterior, with sporty black and red decals on the roof, hood and decklid, this supercar is much more than an overpriced Porsche 911. The 20″ high-gloss black alloys remind us of the 1970s Porsche Carerra RS, although the high-gloss black lower sides of the side mirrors and the satellite radioantenna, as well as the LED headlights beg to differ.
Inside the cabin, the Porsche 911 Carerra GTS Rennsport Reunion Edition features a carbon fiber dashboard trim above the glove compartment as well as illuminated door-sill guards. Also worth mentioning is the SportDesign steering wheel, the new door panel trim, the sporty dashboard trim, the new floor mats and the GTS logo.
The Carmine Red central tachometer and the seat belts deserve the same attention from us as the rest of the interior, while the center compartment lid has been embossed with the Rennsport Reunion V logo. True Porsche fans will appreciate these finishing touches, and also the Fashion Grey painted vehicle key and a leather key pouch featuring Carmine Red accents with “911 Carrera GTS Rennsport Reunion Edition” written on it.
This limited edition Porsche is powered by the standard 3.8L flat-six engine that enables it to do 0 to 60 mph in less than 4.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 190 mph. Porsche went even further and added 18-way Adaptive Sport Seats, a PASM Sport Suspension, as well as an outrageous Bose Audio Package.
Everything in life comes at a price, with this exclusive supercar being priced at $148,335!
