The well-known crystal maker Lalique has decided it was time to work with a renowned tequila brand as well, and the first name on their list was Patrón. Called the Patrón En Lalique: Serie 1, the result of the first collaboration of these two brands is a limited-edition crystal decanter, handmade by master artisans.
Combining French craftsmanship with Mexican heritage is one unique and interesting idea, isn’t it? The Patrón En Lalique will be produced in a limited run of just 500 pieces, each of them priced at a cool $7,500 – that’s why you might want to think about reserving your own before they run out.
Inspired by the Weber Blue Agave plant, from which tequila is made, the decanter features a beautiful bottle stopper shaped to resemble the heart of the plant. The tequila within the gorgeous bottle is a blend of rare Patrón spirits, hand-chosen from the company’s aging room at the Jalisco distillery in Mexico.
The drink shows off a well-balanced taste and complex notes of sweet caramel, honey, vanilla, dried fruits and nuts. Each bottle of Patrón en Lalique is numbered, hand-polished and arrives inside a bespoke leather display case as well. Anyone in the mood for a fancy drink?
