Sure, we’re not really talking about pocket change, but once you get a glimpse of the darkness this vehicle inspired, you won’t be able to help yourselves. KTM has taken the wraps off the X-BOW GT Black Edition at the Geneva Motor Show, three years later after introducing the wonderful X-BOW GT.
The limited-run Black Edition comes with a hefty €99,000 price-tag and a track-ready attitude. This striking vehicle boasts a sinister appearance and rides on black 18-inch front and 19-inch rear BBS alloys. Also worth mentioning is the black anodized sport exhaust, that will provide a cool soundtrack while you drive.
The cabin welcomes drivers with hand-stitched comfort seats, color-coordinated stitching and “Black Edition” logos on the headrests. KTM has also dressed up the steering wheel in suede leather, while the gear and brake levers feature aluminum.
The revised multimedia system now comes with a rearview camera, although I’m not sure much parking will be done using this car. The center console holds an aluminum badge, making sure people realize this is a limited production model.
Speaking of which, the Black Edition comes with an upgraded turbocharged 2.0-liter engine, developing 320 hp (235 kilowatts) and way more than the standard 310 pound-feet (420 Nm) of torque. Acceleration time has been probably improved, as has the standard 143 mph (231 kph) top speed.
Please note that only 5 units of the KTM X-BOW GT Black Edition are set for production, so you’d better hurry up.
