Dodge has finally unveiled the 2015 Charger SRT Hellcat, a vehicle touted as the “quickest, fastest and most powerful sedan in the world.”
The Charter SRT Hellcat is powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine which churns out 707 bhp and 650 lbs-ft of torque. All this power is fed through an eight-speed automatic transmission, enabling the car reach a top speed of 204 mph (328.3 km/h). Also notable is the fact that the vehicle can go from 0 to 100 mph and then back to 0 in less than 13 seconds.
While the engine is really impressive in and of itself, the Charger SRT Hellcat also comes with an aggressive front fascia with a new grille flanked by LED-infused headlights. There’s also a “power-bulge” aluminum hood with a cold air intake and heat extractors, a new rear bumper, a trunk-mounted spoiler, a dual exhaust system, and 20-inch aluminum wheels with Pirelli P Zero tires.
On the inside there’s a flat bottom steering wheel and heated / ventilated sport seats which are covered in Nappa leather and Alcantara upholstery. The cabin also features a digital instrument cluster, an 18-speaker Harmon Kardon audio system, and a Uconnect infotainment system with an 8.4-inch display.
Pricing details for the 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat will be announced at a later date, with the car set to enter production early next year.
