Here’s one very interesting luxurious accessory perfect for this year’s Halloween: the Crazy Skull timepiece, by Swiss high-end watchmaker De Grisogono.
This eye-catching watch is certainly not one for the faint of heart, nor is it suitable for those who want to keep a low profile. The watch is heavy with precious stones: embellished with over 890 diamonds or rubies (which amount to 23 carats), the glittering piece adds a touch of mystery and glamour to the wearer. And its design, in the shape of a skull, is unlike anything we’ve ever seen before.
According to its creators, the Crazy Skull required nearly one year of research and 250 hours of painstaking work to complete, a task which brought together a team of accomplished watchmakers, gem-setters, goldsmiths, diamond-cutters and polishers.
Only 10 of these fantastic watches will ever be created. Depending on its design and precious stones it contains, each Crazy Skull watch will be priced somewhere between €500,000 and €650,000 (from $632,500 to $822,250).
