RM 07-01 AND RM 03

NTPT (North Thin Ply Technology) carbon is a signature of Richard Mille’s exquisite collection of watches for men – an exclusive material with a unique look, composed of multiple layers of super thin parallel filaments obtained by splitting carbon fibers, that are then woven and heated together into even more durable mix. That’s how the brand’s carbon timepieces look both powerful and extremely eye catching, while offering an amazing protection for the precious mechanisms inside.

But the Swiss watchmaker went for another interesting move lately, using this special material to create the RM 07-01 and RM 037 watches, designed to provide ladies with unsurpassed levels of elegance. But for these special watches for ladies, Richard Mille went all out, setting gemstones in NTPT carbon, which is why the Swiss brand had to use special CNC machines to handle the job.

Both the RM 07-01 and the RM 037 timepieces show off a patented stem-crown construction, which means the integrity of the movement is ensured regardless of environmental influences or events. The combination of the in-house automatic movements with variable geometry rotors and the breathtaking cases and dials, complemented by diamonds and NTPT carbon, makes for a hypnotizing sight and an incredible example of technical excellence.

The new Richard Mille RM 07-01 and the RM 037 watches are a rare breed of refined engineering, meant to adorn subtle and sensual wrists, once a rugged gentleman decides to prove his love of all things beautiful by splashing out quite a large sum of money on one of these precious things. We don’t know exactly how much these timepieces cost yet, but we can safely assume they’re not what we call cheap.
