One of Britain’s most renowned luxury labels, Burberry, boasts with a history that dates back to 155 years. They have recently launched their first collection of timepieces, another landmark and proof of the brand’s respectable exquisiteness.
The collection was launched after two years of painstaking research and development. Burberry’s The Britain Collection sports four different timepieces for men, inspired from the D-rings and stitching found on Burberry’s famed trench coats. They come with self winding movements, manufactured in Switzerland entirely by hand, circular Geneva Stripes engraved on the movement, a Burberry logo on the rotor, transparent backs and custom designed bolts.
For example, the most expensive in the entire collection are The Britain BBY1400, available at $3,995, measuring 38 mm in diameter, boasting with an alligator strap and diamond encrusted bezel, and, bearing the same price tag, the Britain BBY1000 Automatic Power Reserve, measuring 47 mm in diameter.
The elegant collection of timepieces was presented with fuss at Burberry’s largest event ever, the Regent Street store, among other names like Gabriella Wilde, Victoria Pendleton and Roo Panes. The price tags for the pieces range between $1,821 and $3,995.
