Everybody loves traveling, and it is easy to understand why. But this year has been one of the most difficult years in recent history, and traveling hasn’t been a priority for most of us. However, that does not mean we are not allowed to dream and British Airways made sure we can all daydream about flying to our next destination in style.
The company is eager to impress and tried to give us one more reason to start making travel plans again. Some of you may recall that their first and business class seats haven’t exactly been industry-leading, but things are about to change in the near future, with their new first class suites.
Following the introduction of virtual reality (VR) technology for its first-class passengers, the company is now looking to deliver premium services and amenities aboard their planes, offering a new take on air travel on their Boeing 777-300ER jets.
These planes are set to include upgraded first-class suites, with features such as reverse herringbone seats with doors for maximum privacy and comfort.
These upgrades to their first class interior design were inspired by the success of the new Club Suite. According to customer feedback, privacy is very important – we knew that – and this is why a slightly modified version of the First class seat on a few of the new 777 aircraft came to be.
According to a spokesperson for the airline, this fresh take on first class travel was imagined well in advance of the Covid-19 crisis, although delivery quickly became an issue. The good news is that British Airways had a lot of time this year to further improve its services and customize their cabins in whatever manner they see fit.
For now, things are looking and sounding cool; upon further research and customer inquiry, we are sure the end result will be state-of-the-art and worthy of comparison to other industry giants. Where do you want to go today?
