$6.8 million Mouawad Snow White Princess Diamond Watch

Mouawad have gone into a record spree by creating the world’s most expensive bag (the Mouawad 1001 Nights Diamond Purse, unveiled in 2011) and now an extremely exquisite bespoke timepiece. The Snow White Princess Diamond Watch is something that simply can’t stand away from crowd’s attention. It was launched at the Doha Jewelry and Watch Exhibition in Qatar during the last week.

Priced at a staggering $6.8 million, this piece is destined to attract any woman’s mind towards it, although just a few can afford such a gadget. The watch features 223 colorless diamonds of different sizes totaling 106.93 carats. The support on the other hand is made of exquisite 18-carat white gold, the piece weighing 108.90 grams. So, it’s easy to prove the jewel’s astonishing price.

The Snow White Princess Diamond timepiece was worn by the former Miss Universe and international model Natalie Glebova, along with a few more of Mouawad’s Haute Joaillerie collection. Pascal Mouawad, co-president of Mouawad, declared that “the Snow White Princess Diamond Watch is a unique timepiece that combines our passion for the highest quality gemstones with the 121 years of experience in design and craftsmanship.” He also states that their aim is to “surprise and delight exhibition goers and make their visit memorable.”

Asked why they have chosen the DJWE as the unveiling place of the timepiece, Fred Mouwad stated that “Qatari women have a great appreciation for the very best in haute joaillerie, and own some of the most important and valuable jewelry pieces in the world.”
