According to BMW officials, the latest series of M6, the 2014 BMW M6 lineup will reportedly be made available with a Competition Package as well. There are upgrades available for all three versions, Convertible, GranCoupé and Coupé.
BMW has also come up with Competition Packages for the BMW M5 during the middle of April, which reportedly raise the output of the engines by 15 HP (11 kW) therefore the cars being able to deliver 567 HP (423 kW) from the stock 4.4-liter V8 twin-turbo engines. The exact plans are expected to happen to the 2014 BMW M6 series, in all three models, with additional power and upgrades.
The Competition Package doesn’t only involve performance improvements but also special sets of alloys, black muffler tips, more precise steering ratios and upgraded sportier suspension setups. Therefore the 2014 BMW M6 with Competition Package will make it to 62 mph (100 km/h) from a standstill in 0.1 seconds and on to a top speed of 190 mph (305 km/h).
