Piaget Altiplano

Piaget is the master of stylish, ultra-thin watches and movements, ever since it launched the world’s first super thin watch with the 9P manual-winding movement, that was just 2 mm thick, back in 1957. That means it’s been exactly 60 years since the Piaget Altiplano collection has been launched, and that calls for a celebration, right?

That’s why the Swiss luxury watchmaker has introduced a masterful display of colors, sizes and a new tourbillon movement, that’s bound to get every Piaget fan excited. Called the Art of Colour, this anniversary edition is actually a trio of Altiplano 40 mm models, boasting a combination of interesting shades on the dials.

Equipped with the new self-winding Manufacture movement, calibre 1203P, these watches show off either 18K white gold, 18K pink gold or 18K yellow gold cases.

Nonetheless, it’s difficult to ignore the slate gray, midnight-to-electric blue, or pine-to-emerald green colors from this new line. And appliqués on the dial, oscillating masses and pin buckles on the alligator straps in 18K gold should be more than enough to make your day and get everyone talking about that elegant accessory on your wrist.

These timepieces will be released in stores starting this July, with EUR 26,800 required for the white gold / grey dial, and EUR 25,700 for the pink gold / blue dial or yellow gold / green dial models. You’d better hurry since only 260 pieces of each version will be available.
