Celebrating 300 years of existence is something few companies have ever accomplished. You’d want to take some time savoring this achievement, which is exactly what French cognac house Martell has done. Last September, we’ve showcased the Premier Voyage Special Edition, a highly exclusive release dedicated to the occasion, and now Martell is unveiling the Assemblage Exclusif de 3 Millesimes, another exquisite cognac created for this remarkable milestone.

Once again, Martell attempts to tell a story, this time using three exclusive eaux-de-vies from Grande Champagne, Borderies and Fins Bois – each one evoking a particular period in the brand’s history. Thus, the Grande Champagne, with its powerful character, is a nod to the company’s strong 18th century foundations; the light and delicate Fins Bois eau-de-vie represents the rise of the brand during the 19th century; and finally the Borderies eaux-de-vie is a tribute to Martell’s 20th century achievements, when Martell Cordon Bleu Cognac was created.

The excellent blend comes in a unique bottle inspired by the design of the traditional ‘montre flask,’ a recipient used by the Cellar Master to test samples of eaux-de-vie. This bottle itself is placed in a wooden casket decorated with a three-tone inlay.

No pricing details have been revealed as of yet for the Martell Assemblage Exclusif de 3 Millesimes, which is set to be released as a limited edition comprising just 3,708 units.
