It looks like Christian Dior hadn’t had enough of the Dior VIII Grand Bal collection during last year. Thus, they released a few new additions to this collection for this year’s Baselworld. Boasting the “Dior inversé” caliber, there are reportedly five new unique models decked in gold, black or white ceramic, encased with precious stones with colorful backgrounds.
The watches sport 38 mm high-tech black or white ceramic, or white gold dials. Along with these, we should mention the 0.06 carat rose-cut diamond crown, the 18-carat yellow gold hands plus stones encrusted on the bezel featuring a ceramic bracelet with pyramid links.
The first in the series is called Grand Bal Haute Couture Model No1 – features a black Australian opal dial with 60 baguette tsavorite garnets from Kenya on the bezel, plus a black bracelet.
The second is the Dior VIII Grand Bal Haute Couture Model No2, which sports a black Atrina mother of pearl dial. Its bezel is superbly set with 60 baguette amethysts from Madagascar, black bracelet and 227 pink sapphires all over the dial.
The third in the series is named Dior VIII Grand Bal Haute Couture Model No5, decorated with a white bracelet, a bezel decked with 60 baguette sapphires from Nigeria and a white jade dial encrusted with superb diamonds and emeralds.
The three are the only that Dior has revealed, the others being due to come in the few following weeks.
