The Citation X business jet aircraft is Cessna’s bid to take some of the market away from its biggest rival, Gulfstream. Certified by the FAA at Mach 0.935 (or about 617 mph), it has already taken the title of world’s fastest civilian aircraft away from the Gulfstream G650, so that’s a good start.
Powered by twin Rolls-Royce engines that generate a total of 7,034 lbf of thrust, it can achieve an impressive altitude of 51,000 feet, with a range of 3,242 nautical miles (over 3700 miles) and can carry a payload of up to 14,436 pounds.
The aircraft is spacious enough for 12 passengers and has a luxurious cabin with touchscreen controls and Wi-Fi connectivity. Everything can be customized, of course, with a wide range of different woods, metals and leathers available so the new owners can design the interior they’ll feel most comfortable in during flights.
The price for a Cessna Citation X is $22.95 million.
