Last summer, the renowned Swiss watchmaker Zenith has teamed up with the Rolling Stones to promote their bespoke watches, launching a special Rolling Stones watch to celebrate this interesting partnership. In 2015, Zenith is back with a new, limited edition Rolling Stones watch, based on the beautiful El Primero 1969 Chronomaster watch.
Produced in a limited run of just 1,000 pieces, this new tribute for the Rolling Stones comes with a special rock and roll look, featuring a 45mm black-DLC titanium case, a black strap stamped with the British flag, and the signature Rolling Stones tongue, of course.
But unlike the first Rolling Stones watch from Zenith, which received mixed reviews because it had the funky tongue located straight on the dial, this new version has the tongue smoothly integrated into the rotor, in a place where it’s visible through the sapphire caseback.
So you’ll still have the classic, 1969 Chronomaster look, with a rock look and a funky twist when you take a look at the caseback. There’s no word on pricing yet, but we know that the watch will be launched on the market just before the Rolling Stones start their new US tour.
