Nobu, the world-renowned Japanese restaurant owned by Chef Nobuyuki Matsuhisa, has been opened in a new place today, at the stunning Four Seasons Hotel in Doha, Qatar. Perched right next to the sea and shaped like a closed oyster shell with river stones and bronze accents, the Nobu Doha is more than just a restaurant, it’s a work of art which celebrates the city’s pearl diving past.
This is the world’s largest Nobu restaurant and it already promises to be one of the world’s best places to eat. The breathtaking design of the new Nobu restaurant has been done by the Chef’s favorite architect, David Rockwell, who already teamed up with the famous chef for other Nobu restaurants around the world.
The majestic restaurant has a 134-seat interior dining area, with an intimate 10-seat sushi counter and two exclusive private dining rooms. There’s also a sophisticated White Pearl Bar & Lounge, an elegant Black Pearl Bar & Lounge and a breathtaking 38-seat roof top lounge from where you can enjoy staggering views of the Qatar’s biggest city and the always incredible Arabian Gulf.
Chef Nobuyuki Matsuhisa is renowned for his fusion dishes, which combine traditional Japanese food with Peruvian ingredients and at Nobu Doha you’ll find some of the chef’s signature dishes like the yellowtail sashimi with jalapeno, lobster with wasabi pepper sauce and the outstanding black cod miso.
