Vertu always seems to be busy with some new collaboration with a high-end brand or another. This time it’s another one of Britain’s most prestigious names, luxury car manufacturer Bentley.

A newer, more exclusive and version of the Signature Touch smartphone, Vertu for Bentley is the first product to be released after the two companies announced their partnership this summer. The device comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 SoC processor, 64 GB of memory, a 1080 pixel sapphire crystal display, and a 13MP camera with dual-LED flash. Running on Android 4.4 KitKat, the phone also has built-in stereo speakers, full connectivity suite including LTE, and Qi wireless charging capabilities.

There’s more to such a phone than just its raw technical capabilities. A Vertu is a status symbol, also a piece of jewelry, and this particular version is no different. Wrapped in calf leather, the phone also features select Bentley content, like an exclusive Bentley app, wallpapers, and is adorned with the Bentley logo.

Only 2,000 of these superb smartphones are set to be released, each priced at €12,500 (about $15,900).
