Located at the pinnacle of a small village in Switzerland called Surlej, the luxurious Hotel Nira Alpina is closely knit to the famously glamorous St. Moritz. It boasts an even better location, providing all-around breathtaking views of the surroundings, while, at the same time, offering one off ski-in and ski-out services. It is actually the first hotel in the area to provide as much as this.

Nira Alpina excels even architecturally speaking, appearing to be clinging from the mountainside rocky cliffs. Guests are able to ski towards the entrance and connect directly with the nearby cable car station via a superbly glassed-in covered walkway. The architects have designed the building in such a smart way that it provides full-time spectacular views of the Swiss Alps – the Engadine Mountains, in fact, and Lake Silvaplana. The sides of the hotel have been garnished with all sorts of terraces and balconies which further enhance the dazzling experience at Nira Alpina.

Tourists can also head upwards on the mountain, up to 3,300 meters, which is the highest point in the entire ski domain. They can do it in just 15 minutes right from the hotel. The luxurious Nira Alpina is further linked to the upper level of the cable car building via a private, covered walkway.

The accommodation consists of superbly garnished bedrooms, boasting with Egyptian cotton bathrobes, granite bathrooms with large tubs and waterfall showers, alongside exquisite Swiss linen. Guests can also enjoy the services of a spa, alongside all sorts of restaurants that focus on both Swiss cuisine and international meals.

Already a member of Design Hotels TM, Nira Alpina is the perfect place to try some mountain life.
