Latvian military-grade vehicle manufacturer Dartz is well known for producing some of the world’s most outrageous armored cars, developed for extravagant billionaires, celebrities and whoever loves their outlandish ideas. There are thousands of companies throughout the world specialized in refining vehicles, but none is as ‘wacky’ as Dartz Motors.
With all that being said, I still doubt you were expecting to see this. Dartz has even offered whale foreskin as upholstery in the past, but right now the Latvian manufacturer has managed to surpass its own craziness by revealing the world’s most expensive child safety seat, and yes: it offers bulletproof protection.
According to Dartz, a customer ordered this bulletproof child safety seat, and there was nothing left to do but go for the overkill. The back of this child seat is made from Kevlar, which was then wrapped in carbon fiber, along with natural gold stitching. The finishing touch was upholstering the seat with ‘Kolonial Touch’ gold plated crocodile skin and fine ‘Luxpel’ Nappa leather.
Dartz Motors went on to add a massage function, as well as iDevices support, in case your toddler already loves gadgets. There is no information on costs just yet, but it’s safe to say that this insane child seat won’t come cheap. Maybe we’ll find out one day who ordered this outrageous product.
