The up and coming Italian supercar maker based in Tuscany, Mazzanti, has just adorned their badge on a new, stunning piece of automotive design. Designed as an extreme version of the Evantra, the Millecavalli version is one incredibly exotic machine.

Unveiled at the 2016 Turin Auto Show, the Mazzanti Evantra Millecavalli has been ‘advertised’ as the most powerful Italian road-legal hypercar ever – thus aiming at Ferrari’s LaFerrari and its 950 HP and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft) of torque. So, which one do you think is the winner, here?

As its name states, Millecavalli meaning 1,000 horses, this extreme Mazzanti Evantra benefits from 1,000 hp and 1,200 Nm (885 lb-ft) of torque, sourced from a new 7.2-liter twin-turbo V8 engine. All that power is sent to the rear axle only through a six-speed sequential transmission.

Since it weighs in at just 1,300 kg (or 2,866 lbs), this Italian hypercar will easily do 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 2.7 seconds and max out at 250 mph (or about 402 km/h). There’s also a very unique carbon ceramic brakes system developed specifically for this ride by Brembo, allowing the powerful vehicle to come to a complete stop from 300 km/h (186 mph) in 7 seconds.

The Mazzanti Evantra Millecavalli will be part of a very limited series, just 25 units, with no price-tag to talk about – just yet. We’re still wondering about the soundtrack of this beauty.
