The Italian yacht builders from Overmarine decided to enter a new segment a while ago, and the launch of the first unit in company’s new Oceano 42 displacement line makes everything official. Showing off that very appreciated Italian flair and sleek, contemporary lines, this beautiful vessel benefits from some family-friendly upgrades.
Mangusta Oceano 42 was the vision of Maurizio Balducci, who had the idea of creating a three-deck yacht which now benefits from a full-aluminium displacement – a company first, I might add. Designed by Alberto Mancini, the Oceano 42 is an elegant vessel from any angle you look at it, featuring impressive interior and exterior guest spaces.
The sundeck was designed to be the ultimate chill out zone for this yacht’s passengers, with a large social U-shape area, a lovely bar forward and an open sunbathing deck space on offer. And have we mentioned the beach club? The bridge deck level is equally impressive, with an intimate breakfast area, as well as a wind-free zone, for some well-deserved privacy.
Moving on to the foredeck, you’ll find an open environment, with a stunning infinity pool surrounded by large sunpads and a forward-facing settee overlooking the wet area. The interiors of this gorgeous yacht are a total treat as well, showing off a bright atmosphere, with natural elements and wonderful decorations on display throughout the yacht.
Overmarine used only last generation technologies and high quality materials for this vessel, and two MTU 12V 2000 M72 engines allow this ship to cruise at 11 knots and keep going for over 4,000 nm.
