As the Formula 1 World Championship finally returns to the United States, with the penultimate Grand Prix of this season programmed to take place between the 16th and the 18th of November, on the newly built Circuit of the Americas, in Austin, Texas, Hublot are coming out with a piece to celebrate the event, recently unveiling the F1 King Power Austin.

A unique piece of modern horlogerie, the F1 King Power Austin features a lightweight, biocompatible and highly resistant to corrosion titanium case, alongside an array of top notch elements inspired from Formula 1, like satin-finished, carbon and titanium bezel with perforated appearance similar to high performance brake discs, a 30-minute timer at 3 o’clock and start and reset push-pieces.

Crafted from black Hornback alligator leather, the strap adds an impression of elegance to this extremely sporty piece. The leather is sewn to a black rubber base in order to make it hugely more comfortable and flexible.

Due to be manufactured in just 250 pieces, Hublot’s F1 King Power Austin features vertical satin-finished, black SuperLuminova hands, date window at 4:30, Hublot’s HUB4100 mechanical chronograph automatically wound movement, Rhodium plated, satin finished and polished bridges, 42 hour power reserve, black composite resin lateral inserts and crown, sapphire crystal with antireflective coating, water resistance up to 100 meters or 10 ATM and a superb dial, with red and black charcoal grey indexes, Grey F1 logo at 12 o’clock and black SuperLuminova.
