One of the most prestigious names in automotive history is taking center stage for one last time, as Bugatti is unveiling the 450th and final Veyron: the Grand Sport Vitesse La Finale.

As a symbolic gesture, the prestigious carmaker designed the vehicle to be reminiscent of the first Veyron, with a red and black exposed carbon fiber exterior with black air scoops, two-tone wheels, but also “La Finale” badging.

The cabin features the same two-tone color scheme in the interior as well, including Silk beige leather seats, in contrast with Hot Spur red accents. There’s also red carbon fiber trim, a sculpted Bugatti elephant (a symbol encountered in other vehicles as well), and embroidered headrests with “La Finale” badging.

The Veyron is powered by a quad-turbocharged 8.0-liter W16 engine which churns out a massive 1,200 PS (882 kW) and 1,500 Nm (1106 lb-ft) of torque. This allows to car to go from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in a neck-breakingly quick 2.6 seconds, and reach a top speed of 254 mph (410 km/h).

After its great success with the Veyron range, Bugatti doesn’t intend to rest on its laurels. In fact, the Molsheim brand has already announced its intention to build on this success, and is already developing the next model.
