Asia’s most prestigious Haute Horlogerie Exhibition saw the third consecutive participation of Swiss watchmaker Roger Dubuis. The famous watchmaker has unveiled its latest cutting-edge timepiece, the Excalibur Star of Infinity, a gorgeous watch based on the Astral Skeleton concept, looking just as dazzling as its name implies.
The Roger Dubuis Excalibur Spider Skeleton Double Flying Tourbillon left everyone wanting more, and the latest watch should do the same. The blissful Star of Infinity features 312 baguette-cut diamonds weighing approximately 14.93 carats in total, while the 45 mm case sculpted from white gold has been adorned with 12.64 carats of baguette-cut diamonds.
The skeleton dial of the timepiece is flanged and the star is set with around 0.96 carats of baguette-cut diamonds. The Excalibur Star of Infinity houses caliber RD01SQ, a skeleton movement made of 301 parts designed and manufactured in-house.
The front and back of the watch expose the delightful aesthetics of the movement, sealed with the “Poinçon de Genève” assurance. You should also know that the Excalibur Star of Infinity comes with a power-reserve of 50 hours and is water resistant to 30 meters.
All that bling and wonderful design is complemented by a hand-stitched black strap made from genuine alligator skin. And since Roger Dubuis is well-known for their attention to detail, it should not come as a surprise that the white gold clasp comes with adjustable folding buckle and that it’s also set with approximately 1.33 carats baguette-cut diamonds. It is worth mentioning that only 28 such amazing pieces will be available worldwide.
