The elegant Lady Petra from Heesen Yachts

Backed by 30 years of expertise, the Dutch yachts manufacturer Heesen is renowned at a worldwide level as one of the most capable shipyards ever. When top notch technology and exquisite manufacture come into discussion, these guys aren’t far behind.

And this fact is once again proven by the Lady Petra, a 47 meter steel displacement yacht launched during April 2012. Its launched featured the presence of 700 guests, the yacht’s owners and Mr. And Mrs. Heesen. The vessel could have been seen at the 2012 Monaco Yacht Show, a few days ago.

Lady Petra was developed and built on close collaboration with its owner, up to the minutest details. The result is an extremely luxurious and high performance yacht, yet nature friendly and extremely efficient. The exterior design was conceived by Omega Architects, while the interiors were penned down by the fabled Bannenberg and Rowell. The personality of the owner was the main source of ideas for Lady Petra’s design and space distribution. The three levels totalize 240 square meters, allowing the yacht to accommodate up to 12 guests.

The interiors feature a master suite on the upper deck, 4 guest staterooms on the lower deck, a VIP suite on the main deck, suitable for all sorts of personalities and ages, and a plethora of entertainment areas. The main aft deck comprises a lounging area which provides breathtaking views and ample spaces to relax and forget about stress. Two thin pillars support the awning which provides enough shade to all the occupants, while the U-shaped arrangement of lavish sofas provide satisfying deals of coziness.

The main saloon follows the overall design of the yacht, boasting with coziness, minimalism and lightness. It somehow resembles Dutch industrial motifs with creamy color palettes as impressive as the entire saloon is. This space is very intimate at the same time featuring a fore dining room, central lounge and an aft pantry.

A large, circular staircase guards the central lobby, alongside strips of tan leather on the walls. Through a corridor, one can reach the superb master suite on the upper deck, which boasts with a media room with a 65 inch flat screen TV and comfortable sofas. Immediately adjacent, a study and a treadmill are also ready to serve their masters.

Going starboard on the main deck corridor, guests can notice the magnificent VIP suite with its large stateroom and en suite bathroom. From here, a central staircase leads below decks where the 4 staterooms are located, centered by a lobby. They are all decked with marble, top notch upholstery, calm color palettes and wood essences.

The upper aft deck is the place where one can enjoy al fresco dining and lounge. A superb collection of outside dining arrangements catches the eye at this location, while a few more are also located on the sun decks, the main aft deck and on the fore upper deck terrace where a few sunpads are ready to offer the ultimate in comfort.

The main sun deck features a gorgeous Jacuzzi, a large dining table and a fully endowed bar, all in the shade provided by the reverse radar arch. Ready to pamper even the most discerning of guests, Lady Petra is able to carry all sorts of guests over the entire globe in comfort, style and tranquility.
