Arctic Sun Explorer

The marvelous 50m vessel before you is called Arctic Sun, and it’s a new green explorer concept imagined by the Swedish superyacht designer Dennis Ingemansson. The British shipyard Pendennis will be in charge of taking this vessel to the real realm, with the Arctic Sun explorer set to cruise in both cold and warm waters – better pack a full set of clothes.

This wonderful explorer yacht features some automotive-inspired styling cues, due to the fact that the designer’s main academic specialization is – you’ve guessed it – automotive design. Probably that’s why it looks fast even when it’s standing still, while 80 square meters worth of solar cells will keep the environment as clean as possible.

There are several generous exterior spaces on board this yacht, where tenders and small submarines could be set to rest, and there’s even space to land and carry a helicopter. Of course, passengers aboard will also benefit from entertainment and relaxation areas, which would be ideal on a hot summer day, while the interiors are not to be ignored either.

Naturally lit and extremely comfortable, the cabins on the Arctic Sun will be able to accommodate up to 10 guests and 7 crew members. The Sun Deck will be probably the best place to hang out and relax, while the gym, and a special massage room and sauna will keep passengers smiling as well. Watersport enthusiasts will have a choice between several tenders, 6 jet skies, diving equipment and more, so you’ll surely be in a for a treat on this vessel!
