You might remember that Ford’s amazing GT supercar will be produced in limited numbers, and this very special Ford GT ’66 Heritage is part of an even more exclusive limited series. The ravishing vehicle before you pays tribute to the Ford GT40 Mark II, driven by Bruce McLaren and Chris Amon towards the 1966 Le Mans victory.
Ford’s historic victories at the renowned race from Le Mans were the ones that inspired the automaker to bring back the GT label to the world in the first place. And there’s probably no better way to honor that glorious period and 50 years from the 1966 Le Mans victory, than by revealing this ’66 Heritage Edition of the Ford GT.
Showing off a bespoke Shadow Black exterior, that could be available in either a glossy or matte finish, this supercar also comes with silver stripes, an exposed carbon fiber package, and Frozen White #2 graphics on the hood and doors.
The Ford GT ’66 Heritage also rides on a new set of 20″ one-piece forged aluminum wheels, finished off in gold satin clearcoat with black lug nuts, but that’s not all it has to offer. On the inside, the exciting features on this beauty continue with a unique serialized identification plate, plus exposed carbon fiber bits and pieces.
The supercar’s carbon fiber seats, instrument panel, pillars and headliner have been wrapped in fine, ebony leather, while gold appliqués have been added to the dashboard. There’s also a new, leather wrapped steering wheel and a bespoke set of blue webbing seatbelts. Contact your local dealer now and see if you can get your hands on one!
