Made by Italy’s TºRed Bikes and beautifully designed by Romolo Stanco, the breathtaking BestiaNera Sport is one of the world’s lightest electric bikes, tipping the scales at just 9.8 kg (21.6 lb). In a world where most e-bikes tend to be fairly conservative, this bike is certainly a head-turner.
The track-inspired bike shows off a wonderful monocoque carbon fiber frame, a carbon tri-bladed front wheel, and a carbon disc-covered rear wheel. The back wheel, on the other hand, contains a 30 V/160-Wh lithium-ion battery pack and a brushless 250-watt hub motor, making the rider’s experience an unforgettable one.
An iOS or Android smartphone app will allow the rider to choose the amount of electric assistance, but the battery should be good for a range of up to 30 km (19 miles) per charge. At the back, a regenerative braking system helps stretch that range out, while an SRAM hydraulic disc brake fitted at the front helps you brake, when necessary.
TºRed’s Shape Memory Alloy Anti Vibration System makes use of nickel titanium elements within the carbon frame to reduce vibrations, and make for a smoother ride. The BestiaNera sells for €9,900 (US$10,920), while an Urban version might just be more affordable.
I believe this design was initially from a Chinese designer many years back.. definitely very similar
