The official time keeper for the Grand Prix of Monaco, TAG Heuer, is now presenting 4 brand new wristwatches. Two of them are limited edition, crafted to honor the Monaco GP, while the other two are actual recreations of two special timepieces that used to be available in TAG Heuer boutiques.
The first we’re going to depict is the Monaco Caliber 12 ACM Limited Edition (CAW211K) – this piece was crafted in tight collaboration with the Automobile Club of Monaco. It boasts with a 30 millimeter black dial and the ACM logo. Its production will be limited to 1,200 units.
The second on the list is the Carrera Calibre 16 Day Date Monaco Grand Prix LE (CV2A1F) – it is actually a proud member of the Carrera collection, garnished with a stainless steel bracelet or a sporty rubber strap. It features a 43 millimeter diameter case, made from stainless steel and sports contrasting bright red seconds’ hand. This will be produced in much more units, but still limited – 3,000 pieces.
The penultimate model is the Monaco Heuer Steve McQueen Calibre 11 – exactly the model worn by Steve McQueen during the 1971 Le Mans movie, the trigger of the collection’s huge popularity. To honor the fabled actor, TAG Heuer have remanufactured this model, a revamp of a vintage version. Having been garnished with a blue leather strap, it sports stunning bright white stripes on the dial.
The last but not the list on this page is the Monaco Twenty Four McQueen (CAL5111) – running on the Calibre 36, this timepiece boasts with a 40.5 millimeter wide case and curved glass top. These limited edition TAG Heuer timepieces are currently available for purchase in TAG Heuer boutiques worldwide.
