The Stunningly Valuable Hallucination

Baselworld is the perfect opportunity for everybody to show off their best, most spectacular work. It’s doubtful, however, that anyone can match this exceptional piece created by Graff Diamonds called Hallucination.

Ostensibly presented as a watch, it’s actually so much more than that. Created for a lady with a taste for the finer things (and the desire to spend a fortune for those things), it looks more like a colorful bracelet, glittering with innumerable tiny diamonds amongst which you can barely see the dial. The timepiece was designed by Laurence Graff, Chairman of Graff Diamonds, and is the result of thousands of man-hours put into it by the company’s best craftsmen and gemologists. In total, a staggering 110kts of extremely rare colored diamonds have been used in the creation of the Hallucination.

The people at Graff are known for their high standards of excellence, but this time it seems they have outdone themselves. So it’s really no surprise that Hallucination also comes with a ridiculously high price tag. How much? Hold on to your seat — $55 million!
