Adventure, luxury, extravagance, comfort, opulence, they fully imply generous bank accounts and the will to stand out from the crowd. And yet there’s one thing that can embody the lot – a superyacht. This week’s star is the mighty Cosmo 50 Explorer I-Nova, a respectable king of the seas resulted from the collaboration between naval architect Mr. Dimitris Bales, designer Cristiano Gatto of Cristiano Gatto Design Team Srl. and the owner of the Alizul Finance Corporation.

The project had been started off back in 2010, following extensive thought on building an exploration yacht for a long period of time, courtesy of Alizul Finance Corporation Ltd. This is in fact the very first ship manufactured under the tutelage of Cosmo Explorer and was recently launched to water, in Greece. Measuring 50 meters LoA, the I-Nova is an Ice Class motoryacht putting together a friendly yet very strong personality, sportiness, elegance and freshness. I’ve mentioned Cristiano Gatto earlier – well, his team is behind both the interior and exterior décors, no wonder this vessel is so eye-catching.

The exterior of the I-Nova boasts with strong lines, white aluminium superstructure, 9.5-meter wide beam and a sturdy, grey steel hull, revealing impressively lavish decks. Able to cozily accommodate up to 12 guests, it can carry adventurers all over the world, within its superbly decked interiors, with natural colors, light masculine ambiance and robust materials. Sophistication and mind-boggling hospitality is what you’ll find upon boarding this magnificent cruiser. Starting with the main saloon, the sentiments of extensive comfort and lavishness simply astonish every visitor. Refined design, cool contrasts between tones of honey, cream and chocolate, cozy lounge sofas and poufs, in light upholstery, are superbly garnishing this place, combined with warmly textured bamboo wicket ceiling panels, curvy modern coffee tables, plush carpeting in off-white tones and modern settees in dark brown leather, for a deep touch of opulence.

There’s also a superb connection between the world inside and what’s outside via panoramic windows, providing openness and freshness. Fore, you’ll be finding a formal dining spot, while aft there’s a chic bar area, fully framed by photographic works from all kinds of worldly destinations. The large aft deck sports a large, curvy sofa, accompanied by round armchairs surrounding an oval table. You can’t miss these if you’re willing to reach the big swimming platform and the big beach club.

Fore from the main saloon, through the central guest lobby, lies the stunning master suite. This area is private, comfy, rich and opulent in every possible way. It boasts with lavishness, rich atmosphere, natural colors, soft lighting and luxury materials. The master quarters sport a full beam stateroom, lobby, steam room, large wardrobe space and his and hers en-suites. Leading upstairs from the owner’s lobby, a private staircase reaches the gorgeous panoramic owner’s lounge fore. As for the master suite, it is incredibly elegant, subtle, opulent and superbly welcoming. The upstairs panoramic saloon provides sweeping 180-degree views and features lounge and gaming areas, alongside a private office.

Aft, on the same upper deck, the owner’s and guest lobbies are located. Assisted by a welcoming sky lounge, these areas and equally lavish and cozy, featuring rich textures and precious materials, like Kauri wood, wengé, bamboo and teak, toned in honey, cream and chocolate. Large poufs, comfy L-shaped sofas, all covered in off-white upholstery, create a gorgeous atmosphere, extremely inviting and undeniably luxurious. Surrounded by windows and featuring big glass sliding doors alongside a large flatscreen TV, the area seems excessively opulent and contemporary.

The aft deck is a great place for storage, for example – equipment, jet skis and tenders, alongside serving as a great place for large parties and sunbathing. More lounging options and sunbathing are provided by the bridge deck, where one will stumble upon exquisite coffee tables, inviting sunloungers, superb furnishing and a private L-shaped lounge. The panoramic sun deck, a great place for relaxation, is reachable via the staircase leading upwards. Guests will be simply astonished by the inviting sun pads and huge Jacuzzi fore.

In terms of accommodation, apart from the pleasurable master suite, there’s a lavish VIP stateroom with large en-suite and wardrobe, on the upper deck. In addition, I-Nova includes four guest suites, two twins and two doubles, located on the lower deck, in a somewhat central position. The guest suites teem with elegance, luxury and comfort, featuring luxurious staterooms and chic en-suites with big shower areas.

Charming and utterly bewildering, the Cosmo 50 Explorer I-Nova is a true master of the seas. Incredibly friendly yet boasting with great character, it’s what we’d call a vessel for lords.
