Built by the German shipyard Abeking & Rasmussen, the RoMEA Superyacht is a state-of-the-art vessel that has been roaming the Seven Seas since July 2015. But it was her world premiere at the prestigious Monaco Yacht Show that allowed everyone to check out her generous living spaces and tasteful interiors.
Terence Disdale was the brilliant mind who designed both the exterior and the interiors of this yacht, letting his imagination and skills go wild for this amazing project. With impressive attention to detail and nothing but sublime comfort and luxurious amenities inside, this yacht has a sense of gracefulness and elegance that’s immediately noticeable.
Up to 12 guests can enjoy a wonderful sailing experience aboard RoMEA, within 5 lavish guest staterooms on the main deck, while the owner will be enjoying a penthouse apartment. There’s even a dedicated children’s cabin on board, along with a private study area and two separate en suite bathrooms. And the best thing is that you can even charter this stunning yacht, at a weekly rate of just EUR 875,000.
But what will you get for that kind of money? Well, there’s a sundeck, with two separate outdoor areas, while the forward section of the yacht features an oversized pool that’s perfect for relaxing and sunbathing; when the sun sets, the aft sundeck area seems like a good place to savor an exotic cocktail.
Enjoying Romea’s outdoor cinema is probably the next logical step, although I’m not sure if there’s a popcorn machine around. The upper observation deck should be the ideal place for large family dining experiences, with ample space and various social areas that are complemented by stunning views. And let’s not forget about Romea’s dedicated spa area, with a wellness center and beach club.
A day on the water could also involve high speed thrills on jet skis, a leisurely sail on the Laser Pasco sailboat, cooling down in the floating swimming pool or going on an underwater adventure. Powered by twin Caterpillar 3516C engines, Romea will comfortably cruise at 14 knots and reach a top speed of 16.9 knots. Add in the 5,750 nm range, and you’ll quickly realize that returning home is no longer an option.
