Porsche has recently unveiled the GTS versions of the new Cayman and Boxster, together with technical specifications and pricing information.
Both cars are powered by a 3.4-liter flat 6-cylinder engine, though they have different horsepower and torque outputs. The Cayman GTS develops 340 hp and 390 Nm of torque and reaches 62 mph in 4.6 seconds on its way to a top speed of 177 mph. The Boxster GTS, on the other hand, develops 330 hp and 370 Nm of torque, and accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 4.7 seconds, eventually reaching a top speed of 174 mph.
Both cars are equipped with the Sport Chromo package and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), while an additional Launch Control function can be engaged with the push of the Sport plus button. Other shared features are a 20 mm lowered suspension, 20-inch alloys, a distinctive front spoiler, Bi-Xenon headlights, and the Dynamic Light System (PDLS) as standard.
The Porsche Boxster GTS comes with a price tag of about $87,000, while the Porsche Cayman GTS will cost around $91,000. Both models are already available for order, though deliveries will only start in May.
