Two important things make the champagne house Perrier-Jouët famous and extremely valued – spirits, the Cuvée Belle Epoque, and the bottles crafted in Art Nouveau style.
The brand was founded back in 1811 on the Avenue de Champagne in Epernay by Rose Adelaide Jouët and Pierre-Nicholas Perrier. They have already celebrated two centuries of age, by launching the Bi-Centenaire Champagne, and are now presenting the Perrier-Jouët Collection by Claire Coles.
This collection is in fact a rather elegant series of limited edition champagnes, with additional accessories which are indispensable for enjoying such exquisite drinks. The collection has been realized in close collaboration with the young British textile designer Claire Coles.
The London artist has reportedly designed three different embroidered designs which depict both the individual personality and the House style of the inhouse Grand Brut, Rosé and the famous Belle Epoque cuvees. The young designer has made good use of fragments of vintage wallpapers, scale and fabrics, in addition to adding layered botanical collages alongside handmade stuff.
One of the main sources of inspiration for Claire was the artistry from Perrier-Jouët and the brand’s talent in conferring its wines the superb aromas. This way she was able to create themed designs which incorporate the character of each of the champagnes – the feminism and extravagance of Blason Rosé, the delicate floral theme of Belle Epoque and the freshness of the Grand Brut.
In addition, the Perrier-Jouët by Claire Coles also features 2 limited editions of cocktail bags for the Blason Rosé and Grand Brut cuvees. These one off cocktail bags, boasting a semi-rigid cooler bag garnished with elegant satin effects which comprises the themed designs, are extremely useful in case you want to carry the bottle with you on your journeys.
The Grand Brut Cuvée also comes with a brand new gift box and an exclusive Belle Epoque Deluxe case which encompasses the two iconic anemone designed flutes and the fabled Pierre-Jouët Cuvée.
