Nikata is the latest all-carbon, custom-built, high-performance cruiser/racer courtesy of Baltic Yachts. Designed as a fast, comfortable family cruising yacht, this vessel has just completed successful trials in Finland, bragging about a 28 knots top speed.
Next year in February we’ll see the brand new Nikata competing in the Royal Ocean Racing Club’s Caribbean 600 Race, a competition where it’s already announced to be one of the favorites. Nikata may have been built for winning, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t capable of offering a wonderful experience on the high seas.
She features a fold-out stern platform, imagined by the Finish shipyard, which allows the dramatic-looking, silver-hulled, 88-ton yacht to accommodate its passengers comfortably.
This example of precision carbon fiber engineering and construction was built around a lightweight, handcrafted, foam-cored cabinetry that’s why Nikata is quiet and comfortable, whether it’s cruising, crossing oceans or racing round the cans.
This is a fast, luxurious and versatile superyacht, featuring a sound proofed interior, well illuminated by a large central skylight, which will easily accommodate 8 guests and crew. The interior decorations include the use of linen covered upholstery, colored fabrics and intricately designed glass panels.
Sailing around the world has never been more exciting!
