Zenith have been showing their appreciation and gratitude to women for a long time through an entire array of collections, of all shapes and sizes, since the company was founded, in 1865. The Zenith Star collection amazed us the most, and this remarkable feat of delicacy has been recently added two new timepieces, the Zenith Star Moonphase and the Zenith Star Open.
The Zenith Star Open represents a tribute to the El Primero caliber and works on a 4062 mechanical automatic movement. The dial of the watch has been adorned with mother of pearl and guilloche, while the numerals have been chosen to be written in Roman symbols. In addition, the watch sports faceted rhodium hands, which, combined with the blue Roman numerals, assort with the superb, cabochon-cut sapphire mounted on the crown.
This particular model of timepiece comes in three different versions: a rose gold version adorned with 63 VVS brilliant-cut diamonds totaling 0.27 carats, a rose gold version decked with 263 VVS brilliant-cut diamonds that total 1.53 carats and a steel version set with 28 VVS brilliant-cut diamonds totaling 0.17 carats.
The other new gadget, the Zenith Star Moonphase, sports a mechanical automatic Zenith Elite 692 movement – an extremely thin mechanism – embodied in a case that resembles the shape of a cushion. It is just 3.87 millimeters thick, thus it matches the delicate attributes that define women by ease.
The mechanism features a total of 195 parts – a rather intricate piece of engineering. The Zenith Star Moonphase comes in 2 different versions, steel or rose gold, adorned with 28 VVS brilliant-cut diamonds that, summed up, measure 0.17 carats. There have been released no further data about their availability or prices. Keep in touch with us to find out.
