A. Lange & Söhne Lange has expanded its range of colors, by adding a beautiful rose gold/black Datograph Up/Down and a lovely white gold/grey Datograph Perpetual to its collection. Ever since it was launched, back in 1999, the Datograph was an instant hit, impressing the world with the first ever column-wheel chronograph featuring a flyback function.
The years have passed, and the watch has achieved cult status due to its incredible technical finesse and the brilliant integration of function and aesthetics. The Datograph Up/Down was introduced back in 2012, and it offers – aside from the timeless design – a longer power reserve of 60 hours as well as a power-reserve indicator with an Up/Down scale. Initially available only in a platinum case, it will now be available in a pink-gold version with a black dial.
On the other side, the Datograph Perpetual has been launched in 2006, featuring a flyback chronograph and a perpetual calendar that shouldn’t require any correction until 2100.
It will now be available in a wonderful white and gold combination, featuring argente-colored subsidiary dials and a deep blue moon disc that looks amazing against the dial’s gray backdrop. The question now is: which one would you pick?
