Mercedes-Benz has unveiled at the North American International Auto Show a new entry in their luxury class, the 2015 Mercedes S600, designed to be the flagship of automotive excellence. The S600 is going to be extremely powerful, featuring, as you expect, a 6.0L twin turbo V12 engine that’s able to produce 530 HP and 830 Nm of torque.

We don’t know any performance figures yet, but it’s definitely going to be uber fast. Mercedes announced that the new top of the line S-Class will have a start/stop system and will have an average fuel consumption of 11.L/100 km or 21.1 mpg US. Not bad for an S Class, right?

The 2015 Mercedes S600 will come only as a long wheelbase model, featuring a ton of technologies such as the LED Intelligent Light System, Magic Body Control and a Driving Assistance Plus package that includes Active Blind Spot Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist and BAS PLUS with Cross Traffic Assist.

There’s no word on pricing yet, but we know that the S600 will go on sale in March this year.
