As a real life expression of this notion, Italian company Montegrappa has created a special edition writing instrument called My Guardian Angel.
The pen is designed to appeal like it is actually embraced by an angel. Colored in a way that is reminiscent of a cloud, this exquisite piece features low-relief engravings in sterling silver or 18-carat yellow gold, inlaid with sky-blue enamel and turquoise details. At its reservoir, the pen is adorned with the figure of an angel carrying a sword and shield.
In addition to the writing instrument itself, the series also includes similarly themed cufflinks and wristwatches, all equally impressive in feel and design.
