Following the celebration of the 45th anniversary of the SL 65 AMG, for which Mercedes-Benz have manufactured a limited edition, the fabled automaker has recently presented a brand new version of the SLS AMG GT3, which resembles the aforementioned.
Boasting with the same AMG 6.4-liter V8 engine under the bonnet, which enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.7 seconds up to a top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph), the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 45th anniversary edition sports AMG light alloys in designo magno graphite and an exclusive matt paintjob.
An interesting set of features is represented by the carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) manufactured boot lid, hood, mudguards, rear wings, rear diffuser, front splitter, doors, front and rear aprons. As for the interior, they have chosen to install a steel roll-over cage finished just like the car’s exterior, while the dashboard and central console were also garnished with the same tones.
The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 45th anniversary edition will be manufactured in just 5 units, each one bearing a price tag of €446,250, including VAT. This information is strictly for available for Germany, as we haven’t been informed if it will be available for other countries as well.
