In 2015, Singapore is celebrating 50 years of independence. To mark the occasion, Swiss watchmaker Longines has created a special edition of its GMT wristwatch from the Longines Masters Collection.

The highly exclusive timepiece features a 38.5 millimeter, 18-carat rose gold case housing a self-winding mechanical movement. Displaying hours, minutes, seconds and date on a silvered stamped barleycorn dial, the watch also allows the wearer to read the time from any other one of the world’s time zones due to its 24-hour inner disc and timezone ring. The name of the city it’s dedicated to appears on the in red on the collar of this exquisite watch, which is fitted on a brown alligator strap with a deployment buckle.

Longines is releasing this watch as a limited edition of just 50 numbered timepieces, which will be available exclusively at the brand’s two new corporate stores in Marina Square & Marina Bay Sands. No doubt wealthy Singaporeans (a country which has the world’s highest percentage of millionaires) will see to it that this collection doesn’t remain in the shops for long.
