We’ve already seen boxes from Harry Winston, Ralph Lauren or Cointreau, but the latest achievement of Linley is quite an eye-catcher.
The so-called London Boxes are parts of a limited edition collection of safekeeping cases, limited to just 50 pieces of each model. They depict the London skyline on their lids in a rather superb manner. In addition, they’re available as Humidors or Jewelry Boxes, suitable for both women and men. They were gorgeously crafted from dark stained walnut with the skyline visible in marquetry inlay, in a variety of veneers. The London Boxes also sport engravable plaques made of sterling silver above the escutcheon inside the inner lid. The plaques can be engraved with all sorts of personal initials, messages or dates.
Furthermore, the limited edition London Boxes were lined in powder grey suede and boast detachable trays with compartments that can house from watches and keepsakes to all sorts of necklaces, cufflinks, earrings or rings. The London Humidor though is lined with cedar wood and features an in-built humidification system for the perfect cigar storage. The Humidors are additionally fitted with rhodium plated engravable plaques to the right of the system that takes care of the humidification.
The price for all this art is around £4,500 ($6,900), with the option for the customer to further customize the insides of them.
