It’s been years since the last Keanu Reeves blockbuster, so one might ask what the Canadian actor has been up to all this time. Knowing his varied interests, the answer could be “lots of things”, but one thing you wouldn’t expect is that he has been making motorcycles. In fact, Reeves is quite a motorcycle enthusiast, so he teamed up with bike builder Gard Hollinger to launch the Arch Motorcycle Company. The first ride to result from this partnership is called the KRGT-1 and it’s a very impressive machine.
The custom bike features a powerful V-Twin engine with a capacity of 2,032 cc, originally designed and built with handmade parts, outputting a respectable 122 hp and 122 lb-ft of torque. Built using high-end, lightweight materials such as aluminum and carbon fiber, the KRGT-1 tips the scales at just 538 pounds (less than 250 kg), and is certain to turn a few heads while speeding down the road.
This unique, futuristic-looking motorcycle, which has the added benefit of counting movie star Keanu Reeves among its “parents”, comes with a price tag of $78,000.
